“El Tren Pasa Esta Noche” is cover of Tiny Bradshaw’s 1951 song, “The Train Kept A-Rollin'”. The Los Shain’s 1967 cover was directly inspired by the Yardbirds’ 1966 version, and the Yardbirds drew from the 1956 Johnny Burnette version. As a buddy of mine once put it best, “this song makes me want to punch someone in the face!”
