Éthiopiques 2: Tetchawet!

Azmaris are the Ethiopian equivalent of the bard, wandering minstrels who eventually settled down upon the founding of Addis Ababa. While the musicians featured on this compilation may stray from traditional azmari roots, it does however offer a look into the Ethiopian music culture of the 90s.
